The Good New Prime Minister

Retired Army General Surayud Chulanont

His father was an ex-communist, causing him to grow up with the stigma of being a Communist's son.

He enlisted in the Thai Royal Army. During his field career, he was in numerous battles against troops of the Communist Party of Thailand. His worst fear then was whether he had killed his own father. He had been a soldier of the King and would give his life to protect His Majesty and the sovereignty of Thailand.

He is a real gentleman who has shown his loyalty to Thailand and her people. His mild demeanor, honesty, dignity, and faithfulness, in conjunction with his intelligence, will help bring Thailand to the much needed social and economic stability.

We trust that Gen. Surayud will be able to choose able, honest, and smart cabinet members for the new government soon.

Thank you, everyone who had helped bring peace, stability, and democracy back to Thailand. It's time we clean out the network of corruption, nepotism, and abuse of power...

First sign: Election Commissioners jailed

The Criminal Court of Thailand found the three election commissioners guilty of unjustified ruling and partial treatments to aid the ruling party (of the corrupt government).

The court sentenced them to a 4-year jail term and a 10-year ban on vote casting.
